i copyrighted my ass

we should really live in a world where you don't have to copyright everything. if you take a picture of a sunset, you shouldn't copyright it, cauze you didn't create the sunset. if you uze english wordz to write a poem, you didn't create thoze wordz, so why copyright it. if you wrote a song that haz the default 'bass, snare, bass, snare' beat, why copyright that. the only reazon we copyright shyt iz so no one will steal it. but why? phuk it, let them steal it, at least your art iz getting out there. if you keep the original piecez of all your work, you can still put them out az you have them, but if someone wants to do something different with them, why should we set thoze limitationz. if someone wanted to rewrite one of my poemz their way, what would i gain from not letting them do that. if we create an operating system, and copyright it, we're limiting what people can do with it. you just created something with potential to evolve, and then you locked it in a cage. we write a song about how the world should be free, and then we copyright the song, so no one can build on it. why. where iz that getting us. more money in a society that worships money, a society we hate. a society so codependant with money, that we can't exist without it. that's just syck. if we want to make this world better, there are steps we need to take, instead of charging people money for each step, so they're afraid to take a step, or they'll be pushed backwardz. a society based on fear. stop being afraid of having your art stolen. don't copyright it, just copy it, keep the original, and let people do what they wish with the other copiez. the more copiez that are out there, the more people are reading your message. don't give birth to an important message, and then hold onto it for dear life, get your message out there. to let it truly spread like a virus, you have to set it free. this thought © me.
