a couple complaints that needed to be said. the first one, about my vizit to playlist.com, the second about a clock i recently bought from walmart, and am returning by throwing it thru their window, and the third, a short little 'phuk you' to webshots.com (one of many complaints toward them, cauze they blow goat).
to playlist.com:
i sign up for an account, and immediately i'm bombarded with eminem links, and other rap crap. then, i search for metal artists, and you only have a few songs, and most of them are duplicates. most songs are misnamed. you can't browse by artist, or album, or similar artists, or song name, or anything that would be remotely convenient. what's the point of this site? i'd much rather just play my music on my computer, and not have to 'share' with people who push crap on me that i don't like, like rap. if you're going to have music on your site, be respectful to people's tastes, don't push music they don't want to see or hear, and have all music, not just a few songs from metal artists, but all songs from eminem. this is the most annoying and useless music site i've ever seen, infact, the worst site i've seen since i deleted my myspace account. you seriously need to rethink your site, starting with the point of it. everywhere i go, i get eminem shoved down my throat, cause he's so popular, and i hate him. if someone likes just metal, don't stick eminem in their face before they've even had time to create their account and set their tastes, which is another thing you can't do on this site, block certain artists from your tastes. i spent half an hour on here, and regret every second. see ya!
to walmart.com:
first of all, what's the point of making an atomic clock that doesn't work if you have other wireless shyt in your house. why not have it receive its signal from my router, or hook up to my computer somehow. and secondly, why can't anyone make a clock that has the date and temp like i want, but that also has a backlight, or bright numbers, so you can see it at night. are we seriously not technologically advanced enough that no one has thought of combining those two features yet?
i looked online at all sorts of stores and all sorts of clocks. if they had bright numbers to see them at night, they didn't have the date, and if they had the date, you couldn't see them at night. do we really only have those two separate types of designs to choose from, do we really put more thought into the looks of it than the functionality or usability.
and you shouldn't have it advertized on your site with a picture of it with the backlight lit, if the backlight doesn't stay lit. and why make a clock that runs on batteries, with a possible backlight, if you can't use the backlight all the time, because it would kill the batteries. it's pointless. don't most clocks these days plug into something.
do we really need to have geniuses designing our clocks because no one else can handle that type of complexity, or imagine better designs. someone needs to seriously rethink the whole clock idea. i can't believe i can't find the one clock i want. i have to just settle with the same, simple, lame crap everyone else has, and hope that someday, someone has an epiphany.
i imagined having a clock that had a small, thin, flat base, and the thin, flat face bent up from the front of the base, so the face could lean back over the base, so from the side view, it would look like an upsidedown 'seven'. and it would have giant, bright green numbers for the time (or you could maybe even be able to change the colours, wow, what a concept), and then under that, have the day of the week, the date, and the temperature, just like this one, but bigger and brighter and thinner, with more clock area, and not so much boxing around the clock. and it would be an atomic clock that would connect to read the time through my computer's usb port, or even just read a wireless signal from my router, and would also plug into the wall outlet, so i wouldn't have to buy ten million batteries a month. is that too much to ask.
to webshots.com:
if i'm paying for wallpapers, which is dumb enough in the first place, but if i'm paying for quality wallpapers, your photographers need to learn how to take a picture. i can take better pictures than this. if you're going to charge for pictures, make sure they're top quality, and that you can't find better pictures elsewhere for free.
